Refusal to wear high heels on our precious feet.

An invitation to women and a non-binary person to explore the concept of high heels as a fashion accessories. They came to the studio with one picture of a pair of heels they got assigned to.

 

On a table there was strings, tape, chains and more to attach these shoes to their bodies. Their feet were naked, standing in a pile of dirt. A very whimsy way of exploring but also an important process to change the way we relate to high heels.

The photo series became an exhibition in November 2017 at Konstfack.
